Carl Orff 就是 『奧福兒童教學法』的創始人，是作曲家的他有首《布蘭詩歌》傳世，也是 Orff 唯一流行的曲子。《布蘭詩歌》是採用中古世紀吟遊詩人和儈侶一些詩文，有別於那些吃人的禮教音樂，對性愛的稱頌相當露骨，用24段編排有如轉盤 ( 像本唱片封面 )在命運無常的擺弄下 ( 開頭曲 : Fortune, Empress Of The World 命運是世間的帝王 ！) 不如及時行樂。《布蘭詩歌》也是音樂史上最受歡迎的 清唱劇，其中開頭曲「命運是世間的帝王 ！」常用來當音樂轉創素材，甚至被電影 , 廣告 ...濫用成災。像 Enigma 謎 / The Screen Behind the Mirror 浮世鏡 ( Virgin ‎– DGVIR 100 ，1999年 ) ，就用(命運是世間的帝王 ！ 作主調基礎再揉合其它民族音樂 ( 包括 台灣原住民郭英男所唱的「老人飲酒歌」)。而電影如奧立佛史東在1991年電影【門 】嗑藥縱慾也很傳神，但最妙未過於 日本導演  深作欣二  1994年電影 四谷怪談 ( 忠臣藏外傳 )，也用作開頭主題曲來描繪 承平時期江戶的塵世浮生居然十分貼切，可見好的音樂是可穿越時空和地域！


《布蘭詩歌》錄音很多，最有代表當然是 Eugen Jochum  的名作 ( DGG 139 362 ，1968年 LP )，最經典是柏林歌劇院合唱團的起音充滿雄性魄力無人可及，是當然首選。Sawallisch 在本唱片 既沒有 Jochum 的大支手骨也沒有 Muti  的熱力四射， 採的是中庸手段，合唱是沒那麼厚實但是富青春氣習，獨唱者亦佳，尤其女高  Agnes Giebel 唱工一流，錄音溫潤聽得自然舒服。

本唱片編號   ( COLUMBIA 33 WCX 509，1955年藍金標 LP )  ，COLUMBIA 33 系列 德國編號 WCX  , 法國是 FCX ，而本尊 英版為 Columbia – 33CX 1480 。

錄音最好是，Robert Shaw ( Telarc ‎– DG 10056/57 ，1981年 LP )和 Andre Previn ( EMI ASD 3117 ， 1975年 LP )。 Robert Shaw 出身是合唱指揮，合唱的確動態強大又層次分明。不過 整齊 不代 表 想像力 ，又得購買貴參參 2片。要音效選 Previn 版吧

個人最喜愛還是  Riccardo Muti  ( EMI  ASD 3900，1980年 LP )，又快又猛真是熱血沸騰，用狂野、不造作的姿態衝擊最爽版。

最後是 Clemencic  的《布蘭詩歌原始版》( Harmonia Mundi ‎– HMU 385，1976年 LP )，  Harmonia Mundi  出版分法國和德國 二部份，這是專出古樂的法國部門，也是 專出TAS 天碟大本營。本系列建議先買 Vol. 1 ，如聽來「合舒」再買其它的。

Carl Heinrich Maria Orff ( 10 July 1895 – 29 March 1982) was a German composer, best known for his cantata Carmina Burana (1937).[1] In addition to his career as a composer, Orff developed an influential approach toward music education for children.

Wolfgang Sawallisch (26 August 1923 – 22 February 2013) was a German conductor and pianist.

Hilding Constantin Rosenberg 
(June 21, 1892 – May 18, 1985), was the first Swedish modernist composer, and one of the most influential figures in Swedish 20th century classical music.
Born in Bosjökloster, he was an organist, concert pianist and music teacher until 1915, when he began studying at the Stockholm Conservatory under Ernst Ellberg. His teachers also included Richard Andersson and Wilhelm Stenhammar. After the First World War, he toured Europe and became a prominent conductor.
In 1932 he was appointed musical director of the Swedish Royal Opera. He is best known for his 14 string quartets (1920–1972) and eight symphonies (1917–1974, including his symphony no. 2 Grave, symphony no. 4 Johannes Uppenbarelse, fifth symphonyÖrtagårdsmästaren and sixth Sinfonia Semplice). He taught composition privately to amongst others Karl-Birger Blomdahl, Ingvar Lidholm, Åke Hermanson and Daniel Börtz.

He died in Stockholm.

Tor Mann (25 February 1894 – 29 March 1974) was a Swedish conductor.

Mann was principal conductor of the Göteborgs Symfoniker from 1925 to 1939, and the Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester from 1939 to 1959.
