【企鵝三星戴花】 李查．史特勞斯 指揮 自己作品 : 「阿爾卑斯」交響曲 (1941年版) ／ Richard Strauss Conducts His Alpine Symphony ( Record in 1941 )

Alpine Symphony 完成於 1915年，首演由  Richard Strauss 自己指揮，這是他晚年最巨大型的管紘作品，被稱作最出色的「寫景」音樂，其實也包含著作者自己的心路歷程。Alpine Symphony 由序奏 ( night , sunrise )加上二個部份的登山之旅 共22段組成，管紘編制龐大，包括 8 horns (horns 5-8 double Wagner tubas ),甚至為了音效加上了cowbells  (牛鈴) , wind machine(鼓風機) , thunder machine ( 雷鳴機)和organ..等等。

Strauss 自已曾為 Alpine Symphony 留下三次錄音(1925，1936，1941年)如下：

1925年 : with the Berlin Philharmonic 。
1936年 : with the Munich Radio Symphony Orchestra。
1941年 : with the Bavarian State Orchestra ( 本唱片 )

1941年這次動用了完整的管紘編制，儘管錄音品質仍未盡理想。還是可聽出 Strauss 驅使管紘的功力深厚，氣氛營造的確高人一等。遙想當年 Richard Strauss  為歐洲樂壇盟主絕非偶然。
